My dog Tobby, an american cocker with 10 years of age passed away this Saturday afternoon at 2:15pm. This morning was painful for him... He wasn't eating and he was trembling. And each time he was eating his food, he'd throw up right after. He was so scared...he'd always try to lay right beside us...

He had so many diseases though.... But i guess it was the right choice to put him down... Anyways, here's for the last time Tobby Trinh. :)

i prevented a fraud

I, as a citizen of Canada, have prevented a credit card fraud today, a purchase of a macbook pro 15.4inch with a laptop case at exactly 2:30 pm!

OMFG was I was nervous.... I had to stay calm the whole time while I was checking out the name and the address. None of the informations were matching! The client came in the store saying that her laptop got stolen so she wanted to buy a new one so she knew already which one she wanted. As i created her an account here since she said she never had an account here at the store... She gave me her cellphone number. As i typed the number, it told me that there was already 3-4 other accounts created under that number but with all different names... Already, it was very suspicious...to prove that suspiciousness, one of the names listed was one that our stores had warned us in an email few weeks ago that she was a fraud, blah blah blah... Plus, I verified the adress in canada411 to see if it existed and it wasn't! BIG GO GO: call 911 there for me!! So i pretended like it was nothing and told her i was going to go get her computer in the backstore (which I did, but also told my boss about it) my coworker called the cops and we tried to detain her for longest we could... She didn't want to give an ID and she complained for few minutes and left in fury without the purchase (we kept her credit card) the cops came in few mins after and we had to witness them the whole situation. Later on in the evening, the real owner of the credit card came in since she got a call from the police saying that her card just had been prevented from a fraud and she thanked us for it.

It ended up that the suspect had the woman's entire wallet!! She still has 2 other cards, but the real owner luckily cancelled them all in time.

Wow......what a day...! And I worked a double shift...!!!! Anyways, I am proud of myself... First encounter with the cops was to witness a fraud :D and not because I got a speed ticket hahaha!!!

Crazy experience...my heart was pounding like crazy!!!! XD anyways... Im going to sleep!

rocks ripped

I ripped my favorite Rock & Repulic jeans!!! I was going down the big shelves (yes... shelves and not stairs)

Ok, let me explain how the backstore at my job works. The small items (such as laptops, speakers, etc) are all on the second floor. But to get to the second floor, we gotta climb up the shelves (where we put all the heavy stuff on).

Okay, so.. as I was coming down the shelves, my right leg stayed on the top shelf as I had to put down my left leg on the bottom shelf. But as I was doing so, my jeans ripped. I heard the sound and I freaked out. I thought that my jeans ripped right on my butt. I was lucky that it was right under my butt and not ON it, I would've ran back home!

Oh the joy of a sales rep...

Luckily, nobody noticed while I was working... XD

Anyways, I won't be able to stitch them up... The rip is too big. So I'll cut them into short shorts! XD Well... You've lasted long enough R&R! I had them for around 2 years and I wore them a lot since they are black jeans (I was able to wear as dressy pants! :D)

couples retreat

It's getting late... but I feel like blogging... more specifically leave a little comment on the movie "Couples Retreat".

Synopsis: Follows four Midwestern couples who embark on a journey to a tropical island resort. While one of the couples is there to work on their marriage, the other three set out to jet ski, spa and enjoy some fun in the sun. They soon discover that participation in the resort's couples therapy is not optional. Suddenly, their group-rate vacation comes at a price. What follows is a hilarious look at real world problems faced by all couples.

IT WAS GOOD! :D Vince Vaughn along with Jon Favreau really had it all with their stupid and funny lines. Loved it! It was funny and it really gave us most of all of the issues that couples go through. A good movie to go see with friends and almost a good movie to go see with your other half. It'll make you realize how important it is to listen to your mate and really take care of that little spark. haha.

A solid 8.5/10. I wouldn't mind watching that movie again. :)

Anyways... I didn't really wanna post a big long fat post so... that's it for now. It's getting late and I gotta work tomorrow! XD

till next time.
